1.  Title: East County Alcohol Policy Coordinator

# of Positions: 1               
Job Type: Full Time  (40 hrs)
Salary:  $16.32/hr
Job Description
The East County Alcohol Policy Coalition meets monthly and works with concerned citizens in Antioch, Pittsburg and Bay Point regarding underage drinking, youth access to alcohol, and local alcohol policy. The East County Alcohol Policy Coalition played an important role in the passage of the Social Host Ordinance in the cities of Pittsburg and Antioch.

Requirements

  • Recruit coalition members for the East County Alcohol Policy Coalition;
  • Plan and facilitate monthly coalition meetings, in partnership with coalition members;
  • Coordinate outreach for Pittsburg and Antioch’s Social Host Ordinance;
  • Build relationships with local merchants for recruitment, education, and monitoring purposes;
  • Conduct community outreach presentations, including speaking at governmental meetings;
  • Other duties as assigned.

2.  Title: Friday Night Live Program Coordinator

# of Positions: 1               
Job Type: Part Time  (20 hrs)
Salary:  $16.32/hr
Job Description
The Friday Night Live (FNL) program builds partnerships for positive and healthy youth development, which engages youth as active leaders and resources in their communities.  The program utilize strategies that seek to affect the prevalence and use of alcohol and other drugs. The FNL Program Coordinator assists in the implementation of high school groups for the Friday Night Live Program in Contra Costa County.  The groups typically meet in the afternoon after school.
Requirements                                                                             
A qualified candidate will demonstrate the following characteristics for successful performance in this position:
  • Demonstrated skills in coordinating and facilitating programs and/or workshops;
  • Ability to recruit and motivate high school youth;
  • Knowledge of alcohol and other drug prevention principles and practices, with an emphasis on environmental prevention;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Computer knowledge sufficient to input data and create reports and flyers;
  • Ability to adjust time to allow for occasional evening or weekend meetings;
  • Successful background clearance;
  • Clear TB test;
  • Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and evidence of insurance coverage.

3.  Title: Project SUCCESS Clinical Supervisor

 # of Positions: 1               
Job Type: Part Time (1.5 hr/wk.)
Salary:  $75 per session
Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to Program Coordinators of specific programs that provide services to youth. Clinical Supervision is held for 1.5 hours on Thursdays at our Concord office. Supervision is being provided due to the nature of the work, not staff interns accruing hours.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, or related field.;
  • At least two years’ experience providing group supervision;
  • Up to date on Supervisory Training;
  • Experience working with diverse communities;
  • Strong knowledge of group processes
  • Experience working with youth preferred;
  • Ability to hold firm boundaries and hold staff accountable to group agreements;
  • Valid California Driver’s license and evidence of insurance coverage.

4.  Title: Re-entry Health Conductor/Health Navigator

# of Positions: 2               
Job Type: Full Time (40 hr/wk.)
Job Description
The Re-entry Health Conductor will be an integral part of a medical home team and provide comprehensive health services, outreach, support, patient navigation, and patient follow-up and health coverage assistance to formerly incarcerated African American men and women.
Requirements
A qualified candidate will demonstrate the following characteristics for successful performance in this position:
  • Two to three years of experience working with and commitment to incarcerated individuals and other vulnerable populations and communities;
  • Strong active listening, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Computer proficiency sufficient to schedule patient visits, input data, create reports and flyers, and receive and respond to emails;
  • High School graduate or GED;
  • Clear TB test;
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and proof of insurance or have access to another form of reliable personal transportation;
  • Ability to pass a Live Scan background check.

5. Administrative Assistant Position

Job Type: Part-time   (20-30 hour/wk)                                                                            
Job Summary:
The Center for Human Development is a community-based organization that offers services for at-risk youth, individuals, families, and communities in the Bay Area. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide office and reception duties, and coordinate communications and paperwork. The position is 20 to 30 hours per week and is located in Concord.
Qualifications:
At least an Associate degree; 3 years of related administrative experience and aptitude for accuracy, efficiency, and organization; must have Word processing, spreadsheets, database proficiencies and experience with coordinating communications and logistics.
Benefits include: Group medical and dental coverage and time off benefits (Based on employee’s FTE of 100%).
