1.  Title: BookKeeper

# of Positions: 1               
Job Type: Full Time  (40 hrs)
Salary:  CWQ
Job Description:

Accounts Payable

  • Codes, obtains approvals, and enters all incoming invoices in proper vendor accounts;
  • Prepares and runs weekly accounts payable checks;
  • Calculates weekly cash requests for vendor payments;
  • Matches and reviews all payables before Executive Director signs off.

Accounts Receivable

  • Sets up customers and donors in the accounting system and assigns incoming receivables to proper accounts.
  • Enters cash, deposits checks into accounting system, and processes manual checks
  • Prepares timely contract invoices;
  • Tracks monthly receivables to ensure cash flow;
  • Processes charitable contributions to agency and to donors.

Auditing / Reconciliations

  • Serves as liaison with outside accounting firm to ensure accurate and timely monthly reconciliations, closings, and preparations of financial reporting for the purposes of invoicing;
  • Assists in annual auditing process to provide financial documentation; investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports; and answers procedural questions regarding financial controls.

 Payroll

  • Process payroll using ADP
  • Review time-sheet and activity logs for accuracy with HR Manager
  • Review payroll matrix with Executive Director to ensure salaries are properly allocated to the appropriate cost centers
  • Ensure employee deductions for medical and dental are entered into ADP and are properly calculated for full time and part time employees
  • Various projects as assigned

 Qualifications

  • BA degree in Bookkeeping/Accounting and 5 years of experience; non-profit experience a plus.
  • Highly proficient with Quick-books, Excel, Word, online banking, payroll processing and general internet and PC use.
  • Quick problem solver, attentive to details and able to follow directions.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbally and written in a positive manner.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player. Punctuality, organization, and integrity are a must.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Bilingual communication skills a plus.
  • Valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and evidence of insurance.

2.  Title: Project SUCCESS Clinical Supervisor

 # of Positions: 1               
Job Type: Part Time (1.5 hr/wk.)
Salary:  $75 per session
Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to Program Coordinators of specific programs that provide services to youth. Clinical Supervision is held for 1.5 hours on Thursdays at our Concord office. Supervision is being provided due to the nature of the work, not staff interns accruing hours.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, or related field.;
  • At least two years’ experience providing group supervision;
  • Up to date on Supervisory Training;
  • Experience working with diverse communities;
  • Strong knowledge of group processes
  • Experience working with youth preferred;
  • Ability to hold firm boundaries and hold staff accountable to group agreements;
  • Valid California Driver’s license and evidence of insurance coverage.

3.  Title: Re-entry Health Conductor/African American Health Navigator

# of Positions: 2               
Job Type: Full Time (40 hr/wk.)
Job Description
The Re-entry Health Conductor will be an integral part of a medical home team and provide comprehensive health services, outreach, support, patient navigation, and patient follow-up and health coverage assistance to formerly incarcerated African American men and women.
Requirements
A qualified candidate will demonstrate the following characteristics for successful performance in this position:
  • Two to three years of experience working with and commitment to incarcerated individuals and other vulnerable populations and communities;
  • Strong active listening, verbal, and written communication skills;
  • Computer proficiency sufficient to schedule patient visits, input data, create reports and flyers, and receive and respond to emails;
  • High School graduate or GED;
  • Clear TB test;
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and proof of insurance or have access to another form of reliable personal transportation;
  • Ability to pass a Live Scan background check.
